Ernen, Village of Music
Ernen has been known as a "village of music" since the 1970s – a tradition that lives on today as an internationally respected chamber music festival.
A Singular Tradition
The village's musical tradition was founded by the Hungarian pianist György Sebők, who brought Ernen international renown in the world of chamber music. To this day, summer concerts are held in the historic church and the Zendenrathaus. (More information at Musikdorf Ernen)
